Who I am
I’m Rosina Roibal and I’m based in Berkeley, California.
I have a Master’s degree in viola performance from the University of New Mexico, and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Loyola University, New Orleans.
I started playing viola at the age of 8 and have always loved music, especially classical music. I performed professionally for years in symphonies, quartets, ensembles, operas, and bands. I got to perform with Kanye West, Smokey Robinson, in the film “Bordertown,” and the Native American Music Awards.
I taught middle and high school orchestra for 7 years and taught private viola and violin for 10 years. I also coached viola sections of orchestras and youth symphonies for years as well.
I am 46 years-old and am a mother of a toddler who I just started teaching violin. I am also an expressive arts therapist in private practice.
